Abiola Olaore

United Kingdom | Class of 2022

Financial services are at the heart of our global economy, and in recent years Abiola has worked on a number of FinTech projects in various markets in the EMEA region, that offer innovative solutions. She has also built Active Budgeter, a financial platform to educate young people about money management and FinTech trends.

 

Abiola studied in China, completing technology-related programmes that focus on advanced trends in the digital payment space. As FinTech continues to advance, she is excited to deepen her understanding of cybersecurity in order to better understand the risks associated with cyber attacks and ethical protocols.

Orlanda Gill

United Kingdom | Class of 2022

Orlanda Gill holds a MA in National Security Studies from King’s College London and a BA in Politics from the University of Warwick. She has interned at the Ministry of Defence’s Development, Concepts and Doctrine Centre, and she is a recipient of the OSCE-UNODA Scholarship for Peace and Security. Her research has focused on the technology- security nexus, China, and their integration. She has been part of the London Young China Watchers and has written pieces concerning China and technology. Her most recent piece examines the question and act of potential Chinese cyber operations across South Korea, Hong Kong, and India.

Neha Patel

United Kingdom | Class of 2022

Neha is a London-based consultant with a background in conducting risk assessments and delivering large-scale technology transformation programmes. She is currently studying for her CISM qualification and furthering her interest in cyber culture and behaviour. Neha is an Inclusion and Diversity advocate, with a particular interest in social mobility. Neha’s experience includes the implementation of a 2FA solution for 500k+ clients for a major global investment bank as part of a PSD2 regulatory programme, conducting risk assessments to ISO27000 and NIST standards, gap analysis of privileged access controls and managing global project remediating strategic infrastructure and technology risks.

Hosanna Adeniji

United Kingdom | Class of 2022

Hosanna is currently an Associate Cyber Insurance Broker at Willis Towers Watson. She joined this role after graduating from her LLB Law (Hons) studies.

 

Her interest in cyber and technology began during school and grew as technology became a more prominent part of our lives through IoT, AI, and machine learning - inspiring her to work in this sector. Hosanna is also very involved in inclusion and diversity and has worked in this area alongside her daily role.
